Sky (Celestial Position)

The Sky view plots your imaging session on a celestial chart. You can animate the entire night to see how it worked.

Astronomy Indicators

Tracks the altitude and azimuth of solar system objects:

  • Sun Altitude: Highlighted green when below -18° (astronomical night), yellow for twilight, and red for daytime.
  • Moon Altitude: Highlighted green when below the horizon (0°), yellow up to $10^\circ$, and red when high in the sky.
  • Moon Phase: Displays moon illumination.
  • Moon Separation Angle: Displays target separation to the moon (red if <30° to warn of gradients).
